We absolutely love painting, drawing, moulding and everything else creative and passing that enthusiasm onto our children is our goal. If you’re looking for kids activities, you’re in the right place. Finding exciting and stimulating kids activities can make a huge difference to your child’s life. At ActiveActivities we provide information and reviews to help you decide on the best activities for kids and toddlers to suit any occasion.
Classes explore drawing and painting with a variety of materials and techniques including acrylic, oil paint and wet and dry drawing materials such as ink, pastels and charcoal. Students are encouraged to work on their own art projects and develop their own personal style. The Art Studio also offers daily kids and teens classes, along with art parties and venue hire for creative functions. This is an introductory level  course and does not require any prior experience. It consists of four levels (10 lessons per level) and 27 software 画画班 projects. The main goal of the course is to ensure students understand the fundamentals of coding.

Scratch Intermediate  coding course is designed for kids who have completed our Intro to Scratch one year coding course, or have a similar coding experience. The Scratch  Intermediate course consists of four levels (10 lessons per level) and 20 sophisticated software projects, which students develop using block-based coding in Scratch. Students create their own versions of Geometry Dash, Pacman, Space Invaders, Asteroids, code an analogue clock, quiz games and interactive drawing apps.
Hannah said it looked hard but it was easy as you were explaining it. She also enjoyed painting a unicorn as she had never painted a unicorn before. In art classes as well as learning to draw, paint and create, they will also learn delayed gratification, fine motor skills and critical thinking. Drama classes for kids and teens open up a range of opportunities such as acting for the stage or screen, along with back of house skills such as directing, lighting, costumes and make up. Each workshop lesson plan is designed to teach artistic skills and develop creative thinking in a supportive environment. Students are encouraged to explore artistic ideas to uncover new talents and build confidence in their own abilities. I have booked two parties at Tennyson Studios for my daughters as they both wanted a ceramic art party. At both parties all the girls had a great time, and produced such beautiful pieces.
All classes are strictly drop-off only due to child safety laws, unless it is stated that ADULTS WELCOME TO JOIN. This means adults are welcome to participate in the workshop too with their child/ren. Again, adults can only stay where it is stipulated on the Timetable and all adults need to pay too.

The first class may be filled with nerves and not knowing anyone or the teacher, so best to give it two classes so you can settle into the space, meet the people and get a better feeling for our class structure. Then, if you then wish to sign up to the term, we can work out the pro rata term fee and go from there. AMS Art Studio students dominated the Hunter Region Abstract Abilities exhibition once again!!! Karin is dedicated to helping every student find their own unique style and creative thinking. Step into a world of Christmas magic as you paint your own magic angel on canvas. Using shimmering stars, glittering wings, sequins, and foam-paper accents, you’ll create a dazzling mixed-media masterpiece. All classes are in Applecross and require the parent to attend with their child.
We absolutely love Art Hideaway.The space itself is just gorgeous, and provides a really lovely atmosphere for creating. My child adores the workshops and treasures the pieces she has made under Kate's guidance.I highly recommend Art Hideaway for any little art lover. Student, Lovell won the 13th NKHC International Children’s Drawing Contest in 2021 with a drawing created in class. We have winners from the Shaun Tan Art Award and students accepted into specialist high school art programs with works created in our classes. My 9 year old twins have been attending Art Hideaway all term and absolutely love it. Kate is fabulous at engaging the kids in an informative, fun and creative way. She has established a safe and calm environment where the children can work at their own pace.
We explore the artwork of various artists and use them as inpiration in our own art making. Art Hideaway is a nurturing and supportive creative space where budding artists can enjoy the peaceful environment of a beautiful garden in a quiet and artistic setting. Your kids can dive into drawing, painting, sculpting, sewing, printing and more — while sharpening their problem-solving skills, building confidence, and making awesome new friends. Term programs run four times a year, and generally align with school terms with one-hour classes taking place each week over 8 weeks. While DIY woodwork may be hard for the young ones, they can go for fun, lighter activities such as Taka painting and Pabalat Pastillas Papercutting. Another great thing about them is that they also offer seasonal pottery sessions that include themes or other activities such as rug making.

The Kid + Adult Pottery Class (P3,950, ~USD70.84) is a two-hour beginner friendly session that’ll teach you the basics of pottery. With jayz i had amazing  experience, she has teacher with full of patience with kids.. Erin came highly recommended and we will be definately hiring her for engagement again in the future.
