We can help with pre-, during, and post-diagnosis or with no formal diagnosis. We are currently seeking more dyslexia assessors and tutors to join our growing team. Alison has over 20 years of teaching and SENCo experience across both junior and senior schools. She is an experienced Maths teacher who is able to advise on interventions to support difficulties in Maths as well as Literacy.
Our ND Pathfinder assessment is your first step to gaining insight into the challenges you may be facing. They may cover costs of travelling to work if you cannot use public transport, fund adaptations to your vehicle to get to work, and make physical changes to your workplace. As a manager, you can ensure meetings accommodate diverse needs by adopting a number of strategies. You could provide agendas in advance, allow for written contributions, and use visual aids to ensure clear communication. For those who find group settings challenging, consider alternative formats such as one-on-one discussions, audio-only calls, or written exchanges. Create a space where the team can discuss everyone’s strengths and working preferences, to better accommodate one another and improve collaboration.

In general, we're either neurotypical or neurodiverse but the truth is, we all learn and experience the world in a way unique to us. However, neurodivergence brings many strengths and patterns of unique thinking that benefit our communities and workplaces. While many companies are recognising the benefits of hiring neurodivergent employees, the majority of people with autism (85%) are unemployed, according to Deloitte, compared with less than 5% of the overall population.

We work with both adults and children, and every assessment is tailored to the individual rather than delivered as a standardised package. We also work with people who are not seeking a diagnosis, but who want to explore and understand their neurodivergent traits from an informed, empowered position. We work with people who already hold diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, Tourette’s, sensory sensitivity, and OCD.

We're here to help everyone identify and reframe their neurodiversity as unique strengths, rather than challenges to overcome. For the last three years, we've been supporting apprentices to navigate and overcome their difficulties with learning and mental health as they start their journey in the workplace. We realised that for those who are not in education and whose neurodiversity has gone undiagnosed or undetected, it can be even more difficult to pin down and access the support they've been missing.

I feel it provides an  excellent overview of X's strengths and areas for development.

The IAS have learned that they need to adapt to the needs of the clients and the increased numbers of attendees in the forums. Although the increase is a positive thing for the service, this may have increased the anxiety levels of those who were not confident enough to speak in front of others in a large group setting. Friendships can be formed if the structure is changed to help facilitate and encourage this. In the second hour of the forum, the room was split into smaller groups of people.
A telephone consultation is scheduled to provide feedback on the evaluation of the early developmental questionnaire and to determine whether there is adequate information to support the diagnostic process. When evaluated, this questionnaire is highly dependable in revealing childhood information that will support the diagnostic process. We meet with X's class teacher, the school SENCO and X's teacher from the visual impairment team tomorrow to agree a plan of support for X going in to year 6. Everyone I have forwarded your report on to has commented on the high standard and clarity of your work. Myself and his class teacher thought you had really captured the essence of X and answered some questions we have been struggling to answer for a long time, so thank you very much. Since November 2019, a small number of people (3-4) had been meeting in Costa following the forum (although the offer had been for everyone from a confident attendee).
