Throughout my career, I’ve held various roles, including Inclusion Support, Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, Sustainability Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager, and now Centre Manager.

She is a very lovely lady that takes her job at heart and love the kids. Disappointing Experience with YMCA Childcare Centre-PakenhamWe had a very disappointing experience with this centre. We drove all the way from the West for a scheduled tour for Kinder 3 in 2026, which was confirmed by the centre staff themselves. Unfortunately, due to heavy traffic and rain, we arrived around 20 minutes late.Upon arrival, we were not accommodated at all.
Our purpose-built childcare and kindergarten centre in Pakenham offers innovative early learning programs in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Pakenham early learning centre features spacious outdoor playgrounds with a bike track, a natural climbing fort, and large sandpits. Indoors, we have interactive whiteboards in both kindergarten classrooms, a techno corner, natural resources, and spacious learning areas.
The centre is not too crowded, and as a result, I’ve always felt that my son has received positive attention from the educators. My little one walks in excitedly with a big smile in the morning and comes home happy. The incidents are handled very professionally with prompt communication and they have gone above and beyond my creating a ‘communication book’ for me to receive updates in case of late pick-ups.
Children in our toddler space are encouraged to participate in group play. Group play is important as it helps our toddlers develop important social skills such as, turn-taking, developing self-confidence and emotional self-regulation. Our skilled team helps children through talking, planning and role modelling. Our teachers and educators encourage the children to learn through play to help enhance their sensory-motor development.
