He has denied all of the claims and taken a polygraph test to prove his innocence. The test revealed that there were "no signs of deception", but the accusations still stand, and he has received more accusations since the test. No one knows who is telling the truth, but Piven is avoiding addressing the accusations more than just simple denial.
Has worked in several movies and TV series including “Entourage” on HBO for which he is most known. In 2005, Piven returned to his theater roots starring in the off-Broadway hit Fat Pig by Neil LaBute, for which he received a Distinguished Performance Honor from the Drama League. Backstage, Piven was mobbed—not by adoring fans, but by the biggest male actors in British film and television, every one an Ari Gold acolyte. "I felt like I was representing our country—I felt so honored to be doing a British production," he says. "It was always the intention to do four seasons—when we met the first time, they pitched it to me that way, as a four-series run," Piven says. "That's very different than here. When you do American TV, you read the pilot and commit to the great unknown. When I met with them, it was a great pilot—and it had a four-year arc. They knew where they were going because it was based on a true story.

At least as susceptible as celebrities are to exhaustion—or to mercury, as the case may be. While the accuracy of various forms of testing is debated, and the role mercury may or may not play in disease remains inconclusive, it has long been known that too much mercury in the body can create physical disturbances.
He studied with them as a kid, alongside childhood friend John Cusack and Cusack's acting siblings. After high school, he went to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he realized that acting was what he wanted to do. The real Piven even took some of his London costars by surprise. "He was definitely not what people expected," says actress Katherine Kelly, who costarred with him in three of the series' four seasons. The difference between working in American and British TV was only the start of the transition for Piven, in playing the real-life American mogul who invented the modern department store in pre-World War I London. Randy Jackson shows up (Dawg!) and the crowd begins to swell.
Eight women in total have now accused Piven of sexual misconduct. Chelating agents make metals more water-soluble so they can be excreted by the kidneys. That works fairly well for inorganic salt forms of mercury poisoning but not so much for neurologic forms from the elemental. Unfortunately in mercury, symptoms can look like many disease states. When levels are building up, there could be a variety of symptoms that a physician may interpret as another illness. Only when the physician can't find a real cause or gets a toxicologist involved will they do blood tests and say, "Yes, this is probably due to mercury exposure."
Piven previously teased an Ari spinoff on May 11, when he responded to a tweet from a fan asking for a followup series. The actor cheekily tagged HBO and Mark Wahlberg, who served as executive producer on the comedy, asking if they were interested. Jeremy Piven is apparently open to returning to his signature character—foul-mouthed Entourage agent Ari Gold—for a spinoff series. Then too, Piven’s own doctor spoke dramatically of mercury poisoning as a “problem that can…kill,” a statement that is technically true, though not very likely.

While most people believed that he had undergone a hair transplant he decided to remain cool and not talk about the subject.
