They include a broad spectrum of teas that undergo a level of oxidation desired by the Tea Master. Lightly oxidised oolong teas tend to have sweet floral aromas and resemble green teas. More heavily oxidised teas tend more to black teas and exhibit woody and fruity notes.

Better known as Mars distillery, it opened in 1985 using stills made for a mothballed distillery called Yamananashi. The distillery then closed in 1992 and the reopened again in 2011. It is now newly renovated and looking very modern and clean. The distillery is looking to produce a clearer wort to allow for a lighter and purer spirit creation .
When visiting Tainan, note that November and December, as well as the months of March and April, are the best times to visit. Just a five minute walk from the Anping Fort and the popular Anping Old Street, this treehouse is literally a tree and a building that have grown together to become one thing. The building is an old warehouse built shortly after World War II, but abandoned soon afterwards. The tree is a giant banyan tree that since that time has grown to more or less absorb the whole structure.
Taiwan is a safe destination for visitors, and incidents of violent crime are low, even in major cities. However, it's still wise to be attentive, as some petty crime—like pickpocketing and bag-snatching—can happen in crowded tourist areas. Visitors should also take care during typhoon season, from May to November.

It is ranked as one of the four best museums in the world and includes artefacts made from jade, bronze, porcelain, lacquerware and enamel.
