The spring is known for its vibrant green and yellow colors painting the cliff from which it seeps down into riverside pools. Further inland, Dulan Sugar Factory 都蘭糖廠 (新東糖廠文化園區) is a heritage building developed into a creative hub that organises occasional live music performances. Chenggong Fishing Harbour 成功漁港 situated at the northern tip of Taitung County is the launching pad for whale-watching tours in summery months May to October. The best way to explore the scenic area is to drive or hop on the Taiwan Tourist  Shuttle bus (台湾好行).
A night will also be spent in Taitung County in a hot-spring-and-spa hotel. Then, head to Guanshan, reputed as Taiwan's Rice County to visit Rice County School and experience DIY Chihshang rice session. Other highlights are the iconic Colosseum, the largest amphitheatre ever built, and Circus Maximus. An optional visit is available to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, world famous for Michelangelo’s impressive fresco of The Last Judgment. This morning in Pisa, hop on a mini-train to see the famed Square Of Miracles and to view the Leaning Tower. Tonight, consider an optional excursion to discover the city by night-a floodlit spectacular of shimmering fountains, magnificent churches, and piazzas-followed by dinner.

The best time to visit Green Island is in Summer around April to June when the weather is generally drier and warm. Later in the year, you’ll run into monsoons around July to August, and winter in general the seas are even more choppy. They are not only affordable but easy to pack when travelling home. There is not much interesting around the new station, apart from the BeiBBBBBB Museum. Taitung has eclectic food culture it reflects the various cultural influences that the city has had and continues to have. There are good examples of all manner of Taiwanese, Aboriginal, and other East and Southeast Asian food. While many people equate Taiwanese food with street food to do so is a disservice to the food cultures that make up Taiwan and miss out on some great food. Like all Taiwanese cities street food can be found throughout downtown.
