West Pennant Hills Early Learning

Nestled in the heart of West Pennant Hills, our centre provides a safe, welcoming space where children feel at home and connected to the world around them. We thoughtfully design our learning environments to reflect the natural rhythms of childhood, with indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage exploration, movement, and imagination. Our curriculum is inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework and enriched with sensory and nature-based experiences that build confidence, resilience, and social connection. Our preschool West Pennant Hills offers more than just care – it’s a place where children become discoverers, learners, and thinkers. Every day at Orchard is filled with purposeful play, guided exploration, and supportive teaching that helps children build strong foundations for lifelong learning.
Qualified Chefs and Cooks in our centres create fresh and nutritious long day care pennant hills meals each day, using seasonal, high-quality ingredients that align with Australian Dietary Guidelines. Meals are designed to be delicious, introduce children to diverse flavours, and make eating healthy food a positive experience. Managing allergies and intolerances is part of how we keep mealtimes safe and enjoyable.

However, I witnessed something very disturbing. Two white boys, who appeared to be older than the other children, began chasing my 4-year-old daughter. I saw multiple instances where all five children surrounded my daughter, shouting at her in a provocative manner and preventing her from moving forward. My daughter was frightened and had to hide behind me several times. There were three educators present, but none of them intervened. However, with closer observation, it was clear that this was not the case.I didn’t step in right away because I wanted to observe how both the children and educators would respond.
She is SOOOO excited and we are extremely fortunate and grateful that Kindalin gave her such a solid grounding to starting school so confidently this year. Thank you to all the staff and all the fantastic programming that is done by the staff to benefit the children’s learning. Pick up time is another opportunity for children of different ages to spend time together and enjoy age-appropriate learning experiences.
